During our April 2017 trip to Malawi we visited a number of villages to inspect the stoves and the trees that had been recently planted in March. The feedback and appreciation from these villages was overwhelming and we heard story after story of the positive beneifts that these developments are having.
At Sosola village they suggested that if they received training and equipment to grow their own trees from seed then they would be able to continue the project without any further assistance. We thought this was a great idea and have been able to respond to this quickly because our two visiting gap students this year raised funds to cover the costs of this training. The training event took place on Friday June 30th.
